Characterization of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal communities associated withvineyards in northwestern Iran

چکیده

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) establish beneficial symbiotic associations with plants, enhancing their nutrient uptake, growth, and stress tolerance. The present study was aimed to investigate AMF spore density, species composition, colonization patterns, correlation of these indices soil physicochemical parameters at four vineyards located in one the most important grape-producing regions Iran (West Azerbaijan province). Forty-three samples were collected from grapeproducing during July-August 2019. total abundance ranged 39-647 spores per 100 g dry soil. Twelve species, representing six genera (Rhizophagus, Funneliformis, Glomus, Septoglomus, Claroideoglomus, Scutellospora) identified. Rhizophagus fasciculatus frequently found a frequency 75%. Two identified G. glomerulatum Scutellospora calospora are new for mycoflora Iran. Significant negative correlations detected between attributes [spore (F%) as well intensity (M%)] phosphorus content. results provide insights into communities dynamics influenced by parameters, improving our understanding biological fertility grape production systems.

Phylogenetic and Trait-Based Assembly of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungal Communities

Both competition and environmental filtering are expected to influence the community structure of microbes, but there are few tests of the relative importance of these processes because trait data on these organisms is often difficult to obtain. Using phylogenetic and functional trait information, we tested whether arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungal community composition in an old field was inf...

Diversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal spores associated with Sorbus torminalis (L.) Crantz

This study aimed to investigate the diversity and types of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) associated with the wild service tree, Sorbus torminalis (L.) Crantz in spring and autumn followed by identifying similarities among the different study sites. Three different sites were selected including Kheiroud, Lalis, and Tarkin, in the Hyrcanian forests, north of Iran. Five rhizosphere soil sampl...

Species diversity and drivers of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal communities in a semi-arid mountain in China

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) play an essential role in complex ecosystems. However, the species diversity and composition of AMF communities remain unclear in semi-arid mountains. Further, it is not well understood if the characteristics of AMF community assemblies differ for different habitat types, e.g., agricultural arable land, artificial forest land, natural grassland, and bush/wood ...

Seasonal dynamics of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal communities in roots in a seminatural grassland.

Symbiotic arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have been shown to influence both the diversity and productivity of grassland plant communities. These effects have been postulated to depend on the differential effects of individual mycorrhizal taxa on different plant species; however, so far there are few detailed studies of the dynamics of AMF colonization of different plant species. In this stud...
